Elsewhere Farm is a private full-service hunter/jumper facility on 120 picturesque acres. Conveniently located in Elgin, Texas, Elsewhere Farm is within easy driving distance from the metropolitan areas of Austin and Houston. The beautiful rolling terrain, large oaks and pines, lush coastal fields, creek and sandy soil make it an ideal environment for horses.

Owner, Domonie Schiff is a life-long equestrian and has ridden and shown hunters and jumpers regionally and nationally since her youth. She is a USEF "r" hunter/jumper judge. Domonie lives on the property and oversees the daily horse care and farm management.

Trainer and business partner since 1996, Donna Cheney, Step Aside Farm, focuses on the training of horses and riders. Step Aside Farm has an impressive record for turning out winners at both the local and national level of horse showing.

Together Domonie and Donna feel they can give each horse and owner the individual attention they need and deserve. Their unique blend of talent, experience, compassion and humor results in remarkable horses and riders. From the start, each rider's objectives and goals are discussed and assessed to ensure a harmonious and successful relationship between Step Aside Farm, the student, the horse or pony and the instructor.

The commitment of Domonie and Donna to their students is to teach horsemanship, showmanship, horse management and care to children and adults who are interested in a quality learning experience. They emphasizes safety, positive reinforcement, compassion, responsibility, sportsmanship, and of course, FUN !
